Our mission is to build better systems for complex work. Our vision is a future where technology adapts to the complexity of human work — not the other way around.
It started with
a real problem.
AIOX has two founders: Edmilson Emerson and Brian Vera. Through his professional work in transcription, translation and interpreting in the United States, Brian encountered a real industry problem and brought it to Edmilson.
Edmilson recognized that the solution could become more than an internal tool for one language-services business. He developed it into a broader product. That product became Veridia.
Atticus originated differently. Drawing on professional experience as a tax consultant in Brazil and developing software around problems encountered in that work, Edmilson conceived and developed Atticus.
One problem became a product.
The principle became a company.
Both paths converge in one principle: Understand the work. Build the system around it.

Edmilson Emerson
Co-Founder & CTO
Building intelligent systems from real-world complexity.
Edmilson Emerson brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, data, and complex professional environments.
Before co-founding AIOX Technology, he developed a proprietary tax intelligence system and the consulting methodology behind it, helping businesses in Brazil identify and recover over US$45 million in state tax credits.
His background in data science, tax law, data analytics, and marketing science shaped a practical approach to technology: intelligent systems should simplify complex work without compromising accuracy, accountability, or human judgment.
Today, he brings that experience to AIOX Technology, developing intelligent systems for professionals operating in demanding, highly specialized environments.
Brian Vera
Co-Founder & COO
Bringing real-world expertise to forensic language technology.
Brian Vera is a state board-certified court interpreter and President of BNV Interpreting & Translating Solutions, bringing firsthand experience in judicial interpreting, transcription, and translation.
His professional background provides a practical understanding of the accuracy, reliability, and accountability required in legal language services.
As Co-Founder of AIOX Technology, Brian brings that domain expertise to the development of Veridia, helping bridge the gap between complex forensic language workflows and intelligent technology.
